A new piece of furniture at home always make me want to change things and when my new couch arrived I changed my sitting area, it's now overlooking my patio, more about that later, it feels great for Summer and it breaks the long white wall. This six meter wall is kind of the only large wall in my living and I am always looking for new solutions. A hanging sideboard is on my wish list for a long time, I haven't found the right one yet and for now I choose to add some shelves by one of my favourite Danish brands Menu

During Milan design week I visited the actual fair for a few hours and got a sneak preview of the new Menu collection and totally fall in love with the metal shelves used in the kitchen and bath area. I believe that if you use open storage space at home next to being functional it also, and for me maybe even more important, has to look really good. Made in Design, with whom I teamed up for this post has a large selection of open shelves and book cases from different design brands including my favourite Scandinavian.

I have to fall in love with pieces and next to the Menu shelves I also got myself another long time favourite from Hay. What I love most is furniture that I can use everywhere throughout my home in different settings, these coffee tables can be used around the sitting area as a coffee table, and would look great as a plant table or nightstand in the bedroom, and of course I love the metal look.
