During Milan design week I visited the actual fair for a few hours and got a sneak preview of the new Menu collection and totally fall in love with the metal shelves used in the kitchen and bath area. I believe that if you use open storage space at home next to being functional it also, and for me maybe even more important, has to look really good. Made in Design, with whom I teamed up for this post has a large selection of open shelves and book cases from different design brands including my favourite Scandinavian.
I have to fall in love with pieces and next to the Menu shelves I also got myself another long time favourite from Hay. What I love most is furniture that I can use everywhere throughout my home in different settings, these coffee tables can be used around the sitting area as a coffee table, and would look great as a plant table or nightstand in the bedroom, and of course I love the metal look. If you are inspired to make some changes at home or like me, have a designer piece you always wanted but never bought, scroll down as Made in Design is giving away a voucher to one of my readers to spend at their store.
