The Amazing Chocolate Workshop
On my way to Ikea this weekend I discovered The Amazing Chocolate Workshop. They had a little pop-up shop at the Finchley Road O2 Centre for Father’s Day. At first glance I thought this was a stall selling a very random mix of items – cameras, ravioli, cheese and tools. But when I got closer I realized that everything was made out of glorious chocolate!

The Amazing Chocolate Workshop are an award-winning, independent business that make truly artistic chocolates. All their chocolates are hand-finished which make really fun, special gifts for the chocolate-lovers in your life!
Olivogelo
It was Friday afternoon and I was in a total slump. I was counting the hours until the weekend. I needed a pick-me-up so I took a stroll to stretch my legs and get some fresh air, hoping it would revive me. As I meandered aimlessly I suddenly looked up and found I was standing in front of the perfect remedy! Olivogelo on Elizabeth Street (right around the corner from Victoria Station) make authentic, natural and delicious Gelati! They have a fantastic range of flavors, the staff are friendly and more than happy to let you have a cheeky taste before you choose.
I walked out with a bitter orange honey frozen yogurt and raspberry sorbet. There’s no better way to revive a tired soul.
Peggy Porschen Cakes, Jo Loves and Daylesford
I walk past Peggy Porschen often, usually when I’m out running errands such as going to the Post Office or visiting showrooms in Pimlico. But it wasn’t until today that I’ve ever actually been inside and tried some of their amazing cakes. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always wanted to, but I’m usually rushing or feeling like I should be exercising or dieting rather than indulging in cakes. Today I scrapped those silly excuses and I decided to peruse. They have a lovely selection of sugary delights. It was hard to decide what to try but in the end I went old school and decided on a red velvet cupcake. You can never go wrong with red velvet!

Daylesford is all about organic, seasonal and locally sourced food. They have a family farm in the Cotswolds and a few lovely shops and cafes in Notting Hill, Pimlico and Marylebone to name a few. As I was in the Pimlico area today I popped in for a quick refreshment and left with a delicious Watermelon Juice and some lovely Primrose Kitchen Raw Almond and Chia butter. They do absolutely wonderful breakfasts – I recommend the scrambled eggs!

I’m a major fan of Jo Malone. I can’t be in an airport Duty Free and not acquire something from Jo Malone London! The lovely fragrances and scents …. Jo Malone broke off from her namesake brand which she started out of her kitchen and has now created a new fragrance empire Jo Loves which I am officially now totally in love with! It wasn’t in my budget to purchase any fragrances today but I did pop into her Elizabeth Street shop to explore. My favorite pick – White Rose & Lemon Leaves. Utterly divine!
